Give Your Personal Blog a New Vision
Recently I was playing with my personal blog and got some new ideas to give it a new personal touch. The idea came to me after getting my face iconized, I thought about using it as a new logo. For me the design was ready to change easily, I updated only the CSS colors, some widths and updated the logo image. Budget spend until here $50 to iconize my face.
I don't know many blogs from those I read doing something similar, but I find it giving a very personal and unique touch that impressed many of my readers. But the changes were very interesting for me, since I never revealed my personal picture on my blog before, to put it as logo. That somehow created more regular readers, and more comments.
I digged more into the game, and created a free CafePress Shop using my logo. Didnd't spend more money, just want to make it more personal and keep it for fun. My brother want already a tshirt from Hatem's Shop, some friends were interested too, am I becoming a star maybe ?!
That gives an activity for the whole week to talk about it, and something I use as my own avatar now in Forums, Digg, StumbleUpon ... It's just a small personal touch but have a great impact on personal blogs.
