Microsoft Max, An RSS Reader For What ?

Microsoft have revealed a new software Codename Max, a newsreader and slideshow creator ! I can understand what every software can do seperately but I can't understand why they joined both software in a single one, can someone give me a logic explanation ? The software is about 54M and require 200 MB of available hard disk space. I'm not sure if it's a newsreader and slideshow creator or a development tool that I'm installing with that size ?! I was going to install it to give it a try, but the 54M didn't encourage me at all. I'm very happy with my newsreader GreatNews, the day I pick up another one it will be certainly a better one. This post is just to tell you that Microsoft can also make a newsreader, but you can try it at your own risk.
