Today a new beta Blogger.com have been announced, in this new release there is many new features including :
1- Use of Google Accounts instead of Blogger Accounts
2- Categorizing of posts with labels
3- Control who can read your blog
4- Change the appearance and content of your blog with your mouse instead of HTML
5- More new templates and a new dashboard
6- More feed options
The beta is limited for current users, so the transition could take some time until you'll be able to move. People interested by testing the new beta can create a new account on the beta and blog with the new features.
To give it a try first login with your "Google Account", if your username is the same as blogger so add the @gmail.com . Then Blogger will ask you if you have already a blog to switch or create a new account, Then you'll get the message if you are not enable to switch in the current time or redirected to the new dashboard.
