Pay your hosting and domain names with Chitika
In the last months I started experimenting more things as usual, from stop serving contextual ads such chitika, adsense, the new design and layout, new ideas ... etc. In the time I was trying chitika there was some revenue that personally I didn't give big importance. But it's great when you wake up in the morning and find that a payment have been send to you even with small amount.
Since last year the number of domains that I own increased, so after one year I was happy that some experiment I made with chitika pay for me these domains. But in the same time I'm still blogging on one single domain name, you understand that I'm doing much more experiments than I'm talking about :-)
This is not to say that this contextual ads is better than the others, but to talk about experimenting new things with your blog. All pro bloggers that I know or I don't know have started by making lot of experiments themselves with positions, sizes, colors, ... etc. to find the suitable advertising solution with their blogs. What I noticed that some bloggers are just following what others are doing. You see a blogger adding link ads in the right menu, you do the same while you never have the same results on different blogs even with the same topics discussed.
Maybe it's not good to spend all the time experimenting, sometimes you have to profit from these experiences. But how many things did you tried with your blog ? There two things that we should know that there is a short term target and a long term one, experimenting can have a negative effect on the short term target but it will keep the long term target very possible to realize.
