January-February Stats progress of phpmagazine.net
I was expecting that 2006 will be very special year for phpmagazine.net, We are going to celebrate the first birthday in march, so how the second year will be ? Today I was checking lot of things about the domain name, paying renewal, stats, spams etc ... and I noticed something very impressive in the stats for January/february 2006 as you can see in the chart below :

Page views this month increased from 100,000 to 250,000 which make a progress of about 250%, I was simply impressed ! Hits also progressed from 130,000 to 780,000 a month, and for the second time I finished my monthly bandwidth of 20GB, and set it another new limit at 25GB.
So if you wonder why I'm talking about in this blog ? phpmagazine.net is a network of blogs with a new spirit, new ideas that I wanted to launch since last year. I worked on many levels, advertising, articles, design, presentations, topics discussed ... etc. And I can tell you that the experience is really interesting and it worth all the time that I spend it working on it.
In the stats I'm more intersted into the page views, if you remember last year I was setting a target at $10 to reach it, then $100 ... and so on, this year I'm making a new target at 1million page view monthly. That's why if you notice we changed lot in the strategy of the website, the kind content, very limited advertising, new design ... etc. But in the same time we have other projects that we are working on in the background, it's too early to make announcements, everything have its time.
This year I have a small todo for phpmagazine.net, i won't announce it all, but the most important one for me is to start online seminars and meetings in the website. Last month I participate in an online meeting and make a speech about Code Generators, and got very positive feedback. The experience was very interesting that we starting working on to make it more and more interesting, and make more people profit from these seminars.
I think that's all what I wanted to share with you, until this time. We are still open for suggestions about features that you want to see in phpmagazine.net, content, topics that we want us to talk about ... etc.
