How to change your country in Google AdSense account
You may notice that the country field in Google AdSense account can't be changed, the why is a long story of tax issue but if you for a reason or another you need to change the country here is how to do. I was interested to change it because when I opened my adsense account I wasn't living in my home country, but now I find it more interesting to have my check sent home rather than here.
So to change the country you have to submit a new application with your new country updated, I'm not sure if you have to contact adsense first to do so or you can submit your request later. But you have to contact them anyway because after the account is created, you have to start moving your Ads in the new account, and then submit a request to cancel the previous account.
In that case the money that haven't been yet sent will be transferred to your new account and you can then continue working with the new account normally. In this process the stats won't be transferred, neither your javascript code, that's why you have to upgrade manually all your ads, not an easy task I could imagine.
After the new account is created you have to wait also for the PIN code to be send to the new address before receiving your first payment. The process will take at least two months before you got your first check, not interestint thought ! To help ease this transition, you will not be required to close your existing account prior to submitting a new application. This will enable you to gradually update the ad code on your web pages and minimize any loss of revenue
But unpaid money won't be transferred until the old account has been closed. Anyway it looks to be a long procedure, and I don't know if it worth to change or no ... I could receive the check here and there, but I guess I'll have to do it one day.
