del.icio.us offline for maintenance ?
First week after that Yahoo buy del.icio.us, the service go down ? Maybe del.icio.us need already to be moved to new servers to scale better for the high demand on their service. People are keeping their browsers open waiting for the service to come back to bookmark their sites. Since yesterday the service is off and serving this message :
Due to the power outage earlier in the week, we appear a number of continued hiccups. We've taken everything offline to properly rebuild and restore everything. I apologize and hope to have this resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued patience.
I was using del.icio.us so much to keep my blogs updated with their RSS, and it was interesting to have on your blog list of new bookmarks, intersting and relevant to your content. Also it's a great source of new ideas to blog about. Anyway hope that they could restore the service fastly.
