Chikita dropped from my ads list
I started last month using Chitika program, and it was pretty interesting in the beginning. After that many changes have been added to the program like the alternative urls, Chikita now pay only for clicks from certain countries only.
Last month I put few ads on some of my blogs which make in total $20 in 16 days. What I noticed after it, that the impressions increased but no more clicks, which is mainly due to the restrictions that have been added recently so not all the clicks have been counted. After five days without anything I decided today to drop all the ads, after moving to the new blogging plateforme.
Maybe I could implement it later in some of my blogs but I think I'll be using an Ads system to manage my ads and alternate ads for chikita according to the country of visitors. Then it will be more easy also to manage AdSense placements too.
Even that in this blog I have a special module now to manage chikita ads in the template, but no adsense. I'm currently integrating all the ads manually in every template which is not really an easy task. Boring specially ! I have also dropped the "Advertise on this site" link from the AdSense program, I find it using additional place in the ad and look more crowded. I'll continue using AdSense only in the next days specially that it is much more performant.
