PHP Bloggers Magazine
From the day that I've registred phpmagazine.net I was looking for ideas, to start again a PDF magazine that "work". I got an experience before with a community portal that members rarely contribute or their contributions are very limited ...
I tryed many solutions before like : WordPress, MT ... etc but I didn't find them suitable. Until I tryed pLog, which I find in it what I was looking for.
Today was launched PHPMagazine.net PDF edition, and I wanted to profit from this occasion to talk about this new experience.
Its a selection of articles from different blogs, that cover in totality what have been written in many blogs. The best articles are archived in the PDF magazine, so it could be printed, or just to read it as an e-book.
Personaly I didn't seen such this experience before, to create a magazine based on content from blogs. Of course this require to have content on your blog for a magazine, good articles, interview, reviews ... etc.
Why a bloggers magazine ?After all we have content on blogs, so why not making a magazine ? people who think about advertising, with creating a regular content, and regular readers, a magazine could give an extra revenue by advertising partners ... etc.
If you have a blogging network this would be the idea to launch a new product, that you can give your own dimension. Or this could be even a magazine for one blog, specially that I've seen many bloggers writing excellent articles daily. Choosing the best articles will make people notice articles that they didn't read, anything good that they could miss.
